We have only one show for this season.
Auditions for Seussical, the Musical will be Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010, at Kelso High School auditorium. Children (8 - 13)will audition at 6 pm, and adults (14+) will audition at 7:30 pm.
This is a large cast show. I would really love to have a large chorus. We need Whos and Jungle citizens of all ages and sizes and genders. We will also be utilizing a children's chorus. Children must be over 8 years of age.
There are a number of good solo roles, as well. Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, Mayzie the bird, and numerous others.
The show will be directed by Jueanne Meyers and vocal directed by Kristin Ross.
Adult auditioners should come prepared with a Broadway style song. You must bring either an accompianment cd or the sheet music so our pianist can play for you. No pop songs, hymns or other genres, please. Disney songs are okay.
Children do not need to bring a prepared solo. We will teach them something simple that evening and listen to them sing as we teach.
This is a community theater company. That means we love participation from our community members, regardless of level of experience. Whether this is your first show or your fiftieth, we need you and will welcome the opportunity to work with you. Come join us -- we have a great time!

Everyone gets nervous about auditions. That is normal and okay. This is not about perfection, it is about seeing you, hearing your voice and gauging your willingness to try and follow direction. We encourage newcomers and veterans alike to come participate in our shows.
